Dear Zion Travelers!!!

What a blessing it is to go to the Lord in prayer. How wonderful it is to be saved through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. How glorious it is to be conforted by the Holy Spirit.

Recently, we have had members or relatives of members to become ill and even die. When these types of trials come, we must know that Jesus is still there. We must know that He is working out something special in our lives. When the trial is over, our testimony will be stronger, our shouts of joy will be louder, our faith will grow, our love will be strengthened, and God will be glorified even more.

As we head to the land of no more pain and no more crying, we must be careful not to fall in love with the cares of this world. If you can’t take it to heaven, it is better to unpack it. But please pack love, joy, and peace. Feel free to add patience, kindness, and goodness. Why not go ahead and include faithfulness, gentleness, and self- control? Jesus is going to return one day. Paul reminds us in 2 Thessalonians that the dead in Christ and those who are alive will meet the Lord in the air, and we shall ever be with the Lord. Death then becomes a transition and not an end.

We are on our way home!!!

God Bless!
